Benson has the "5 tools" and is showing off most of them this year with the Captains. The batting average is the weakest.

Bradley and Benson and Jones and Freeman and Holmes and Clement and Johnson all have had good recent stretches. None made the Hot Sheet this week, but all those who have not yet been promoted [expect Holmes] are good bets to move upward sooner [Benson and Bradley] or later [Clement and Jones]

Bradley hit his 13 homer in first at bat this evening. Impressive opposite field shot to left-center.

Eric Haase hits his 13th homer to the opposite field too. His even more impressive. Against a stiff wind and still hit the big scoreboard in right-center.

Wow, Bradley went deep a second time tonight, this time a grand slam!

It was also the opposite way, deep out to left center.

Clip Show won big.

Bradley has now homered in 6 of his last 7 games, and 11 of his last 21. Has 14 on year.

I don’t understand, with Tribe offense struggling so, why you don’t bring a hot bat like this up and see if he can help, if even for a bit while he’s hot.

I certainly expect Bobby in Cleveland NOW.

Meanwhile Freeman with a couple singles and hit by a pitch. Avg hits season high of 330
Benson hit his 13th homer and walked 3 more times. 41 RBI
Holmes singled.
Alex Royalty 5 1/3 5 2 2 2 5 for the Captains

It is Bradley's birthday today. He turns 23. A good present would be to fly his big ass to Fenway in time for the game.

Captains lose today as Oviedo was unimpressive. 4 earned in 6 innings. 6 H and only 2 K. He wasn't fooling anybody. Fermin with a homer and 2 walks.

Naquin is in Norfolk and is going to play with the Clippers the next 2 games. Then he is going to be re-evaluated on Friday. Getting close to being back, and that means closer to next injury.

Those 5 are a good collection of young hitters. And add Johnson and maybe Clement and the teenagers. Not bad.

Bradley's 14th double scores a run in his first at bat. I'd like to see rankings on extra base hits, he's got to be among the leaders. 28 in 190 total plate appearances is mighty impressive. His full season totals have been 53, 51 and 58 which means about 1 xb hit every 8 at bats. HIs strikeouts are still high, 64 or 1/3 of his at bats
