Morneau walkoff homer off Pestano wins it for the Twins.

Tribe loses late.

Browns lose late.

Somebody that was watching both games is obviously a jinx.

It was not an especially fun day, but it was not a bad day, all in all.


My wife and I just watched a DVD of a Norm McDonald standup comedy routine.


In retrospect, it was a good day.

Some dude name Deduno is no hitting us through 5 innings.

Good news is that he is not perfect.

Meanwhile, Masterson has held them to two hits through 5.

We now trail 3-1 after 6 innings.

We have nine outs to tie or retake the lead.

A loss tonight would mathematically lock a losing season, and would move us into the basement with The Twins.

If kickball rules applied, Masterson would have picked off the runner at 2nd. He turned and threw hitting the runner in the back of the head as he dove back into the bag.
