Thanks for the kind words. #Indians Zach Plesac is one of the bigger prospect risers in baseball this year. We moved him from the FV 45 to the FV 50 tier after this April live look. Will feature prominently on next year's ORG review *if he's even still prospect eligible.

By the way, Civ, if you like that scouting report, here is a link to all their reports from last year. Several Indians players featured, including glowing reports on McKenzie, Jones, and OscarG.

(Just look for the Indians Block C logo as you scroll down page)
Plesac is the only Indians prospect they have done a report on so far this year.

Johnson singled doubled and walked in his AAA debut. OPS opens at 1350.
Bradley singled and doubled, his 13th, for the Clippers. His line for MAY: 307/388/673. Cleveland here he comes?
Eric Stamets hit a grand slam, in case anyone cares

other minor league info from Saturday:
Oscar got in one more game in Lynchburg and only singled.
Nolan Jones singled twice and walked twice. Good week: 318/464/591
JC Mejia keeps getting worse 3 1/3 5 6 5 2 1 5.19
Freeman only one single and he struck out once
Benson walked
Cardenas 2 singles
Q Holmes double and walk. He's certainly hitting better, last 9 games: 10 hits in 35 AB, .286. But in same games 14K and 2 BB.
In Akron:
Clement cooled off, 0-4
Tom did not, 3-3 with a walk and his 5th homer
Kaminsky stays mediocre in the pen: 2 2 1 1 0 2 4.15

Johnson's double was nice. Opposite field shot to wall. Welcome to Columbus.

Benson not in LC lineup today. Maybe he's moving to Virginia? Oscar still listed on the Hillcats lineup at milb.com but no lineups in for today's Lynchburg or Akron games.

Bradley with his 12th [and 3 strikeouts]; Eric Haase returns and hits his 12th. Johnson a single. Clips trying to rally in the 9th down 11-4. First 4 batters get aboard; then Mike Papi whiffs. So does Adam Rosales. Johnson flies out. That's it.
Oscar still with Lynchburg, singles. Nolan Jones doubles [#6] and walks. Adam Scott allows 5 in 5 struck out 9. Kwan down to 273 [Edited after game completed]
Lake County wins 4-1. Holmes walks and steals; Naylor ditto; Cardenas just a walk; Freeman just a single OPS drops below 900; Jerez his 4th homer in the 19 games he's played, 2 walks, a rare no K day [28 in 77 at bats]; starting pitcher for the Captains a 27 year old; that would make him older than Bieber, Plutko, Plesac, let alone Frankie Lindor.
Hentges better than often but loses, to go 1-6 4.50 2 runs in 6 2/3 5 hits, 1 walk, 8 hits.
Ka ai Tom continues his surge, one hit is his 6th homer. Clement singles and walks. Naquin and Longo both off IL, each goes 0-2

OscarG still with Lynchburg. That is very surprising. He always gets reliable info. Must have been a last minute change of mind.
It kind of surprised me, cause when they announced Johnson was going to Columbus they also announced Longo was coming off DL for Akron. I figured that was his replacement. So the Oscar news was a surprise.
Oh well, he keeps hitting he’ll be there soon enough.

I'd like to see Benson get to Lynchburg now too. He's in repeat year in Lake County and had been Oscar's teammate and a year ahead of Holmes. He deserves the next test, too.

Akron won today. Morgan with another solid stint. 6IP, 5 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 6 K.
Nelson with another shutout inning and save. He is yet to allow a run in 20+ innings between Lynchburg and Akron.
Naquin is there for rehab, 1-3 with double.

Lake County goes down, but Freeman was 3-5 with double and Benson 3-4. And Jerez with another homer.

And the Clippers lose an important game against Indy who they are battling for 1st place. Our pitching was awful today, Anderson and Hu combined to give up 8 earned. Daniel Johnson with another double.

Juan Hillman with another win for Lynchburg. He’s not doing it flashy but he’s doing it. Nolan Jones 2-3 with a walk and 3 run homer. His power heating up again. OscarG 2 hits with a double.

a couple more notes from Lake County:
Benson with 3 steals, now at 17, to go with his 12 homers and 927 OPS
Holmes 3rd homer and a single, inching close to 200, now at 190. May OPS 728 with all the homers, after 421 in April. 1034 over the last 7 games.
