Oops. I think I subconsciously posted that here cause I have more faith in Columbus scoring 6 runs than Cleveland.

Yes sir! They have Bradley and Barnes and Thompson and had Haase all of whom could put out the ball out of the yard. And Mathias who has started hitting. And Allen to set the table. And Stamets and Flaherty who can hit AAA pitching. 6 runs are no sweat for the Clippers

Daniel Johnson with a 2 run homer this evening. Down & in and he golfed it out.

Eli Morgan with another great outing too. 6.2 shutout innings, 6 K.
Here is a youngster to maybe keep an eye on through the ranks.

Ah man, bad news...
Indians Prospective @indiansPro
#Indians 19yr old INF prospect Marcos Gonzalez underwent surgery today for a torn left labrum. Gonzalez had a terrific 2018 in the AZL & made the Lake County Captains opening day roster out of spring training. @MLBPipeline had him ranked the organizations 28th best prospect.

Clippers game is about to start. Zach Plesac on mound.

He's had a great spring.
Morgan has perhaps surprised a little, but Plesac is much more of a pleasant surprise. 2018 was not a good year for him and he dropped back on prospect lists.

I am watching him and Clip Show. Plesac is killing it. 6 up 6 down, and 4 K thru 2.
Good 2 seem fastball, 94 with lots of movement.
Allen walked, Bradley singled, Thompson knocked in a run. 1-0 Clips.
Akron is playing now too with Civale on bump. Haven't checked on them yet.

3 up 3 down in 3rd too, but all pop outs.
Hitters umpire too. Anything close is being called a ball.

2 solo homers and not much else off Civale in his 6 innings, 7 strikeouts. He's doing very well, too.

Speaking of short stuff...
Not too many RHPs in the Major Leagues under 6'. Throwing downhill looks different from a guy 6' 3" than from a guy 5' 10".
Eli Morgan at 5'10" has a way to go to become a Major League pitcher.

Columbus Clippers 1B Bobby Bradley definetly silencing his critics vs LHP so far this year:
19-47 6(2B) 6(HR) 16(RBI) .404(AVG) .915(SLG) 1.332(OPS)
12 extra base hits of his 19 total hits.
- 6 HR
- 6 2B

I'm thinking it is time to give this young man a look.
