Corey Kluber has stranded 89.6% of those who've reached base against him, the best in the majors.

Jean Carlos Mejia is the scheduled starter. Just joined the team a week or two ago. He's a big guy 6-4, 215. How hard does he throw? Take your speedgun.

Yeah, we need to know hard he throws. You can probably rent one for the evening I'd guess.

Yeah, radar gun, you don't have one?
Look for the guy directly behind home plate with the clipboard and radar gun. Late in the game go ask him how hard Mejia threw that day. And any other questions you (or Civ) may have. I used to do that all the time back when I still lived in Ohio and got a chance to attend minor league games on occasion. They are a great source of info.
On top of guys Civ mentioned we have a really good lefty reliever in Lake County too, Kyle Nelson. If you sit next to bullpen and see him or a guy named Morgan walking around try to get their autograph. They may be on Tribe one day.

We are in one of the private boxes. Tom won the rix in a drawing. Eastlake has drawings every year and we win every year! Doubt I will get any info for you. I'm still using a cane.

Well take care of yourself and enjoy the sights. Nelson is indeed another pitcher to track. Hillbilly forgot that Morgan already has moved on to Lynchburg.

Source: If #Indians (C) Roberto Perez has to be placed on the Disabled List (wrist) catching prospect Eric Haase will be promoted and not top prospect Francisco Mejia.

that suggests that they don't want to interfere with Mejia's development and his recent improvements at the plate. It's the same as bringing up a veteran AAAA catcher. And also a welcome trip for Haase.

If Haase was having the type of season this year that he had last I would actually be excited about seeing him. His power came out of nowhere to impress last year.
But this year, he is hitting less than Mejia, and that is saying something. Mejia 214 with 4 homers. Haase .207 with 4. But Mejia has actually be hitting pretty well last couple weeks so would like to see him get the call. Bring him up and leave him there.
Not like he would do any worse than Perez who has just been worthless this year. I'd DL Perez and work on a trade for 10 days. (or however long)
Gomes is having a better year so they probably wouldn't anticipate Mejia getting the ABs he needs. But catch once in a while, occasional day at DH to spell Alonso and EE. He could get some ABs and experience.
