I hope the cash wasn't more than a few bucks. Otherwise the money would have better been spent on a cheeseburger.

Never heard of him, but they certainly need some relief depth of more than AAAA quality. Ogando, Olson and Goody all earned losses this week. Taylor and Marshall are unlikely to be solutions, but who knows?!

yuck: Drake is a 31 year old righty. ERA this year is 6.49. he spent all last year in the majors with Baltimore and most of the time Minnesota 4.66 ERA, 1 save.

More great bullpen news; Miller who was eligible to return from the DL Sunday wont' be joining the team in Milwaukee; now hoping he's back on Friday.

Need to get Bauer and Clevinger to sustain their command so they finish what they start. Complete games are pretty rare in baseball now but the Indians need as many of them as they can get.

In case anyone may have assumed that Brewers were reluctant to deal Olvier Drake but the Indians cash offer overwhelmed them:

"5/2/18 Milwaukee Brewers designated RHP Oliver Drake for assignment." Wavier claims are made in the reverse order of team records [I think from last season, maybe this year's?] so plenty of teams apparently passed on him.

How to make room for Drake on the roster? Well, they could DFA most anyone in the bullpen. Otero had a lousy spring and not a very good season. Goody was lousy before he got hurt. McAllister consistently ineffective. How about packaging all of them to Mets for Calloway?

They optioned Ogando to Columbus to make room.

While Antonetti is busy making BS excuses the Mets and Reds pulled off a trade today for Harvey.

Mets got a catcher, we have those to spare.

But I do not want Harvey. That said, I get the general idea.

Bullpen wasn't the issue yesterday though, lack of hitting was. And some sloppy play.

This team just isn't in sync all around. Yet.

Solo HRs.

Can't believe how many times this team hits a HR, there's nobody on base.

Blue Jays acquired 3B Giovanny Urshela from the Blue Jays for a player to be named later or cash considerations.

So Gio lands with old buddies Shapiro and Atkins
