Not so sure about Gio: either of him or Erik is DFAd. I would be happy to keep both. Tito doesn't care for Naquin so he could be the loser if Chisenhall were not on the DL as usual. I have no idea which of those two solid IFs they keep. Both could be starters in the majors, and the one who leaves Cleveland probably will be.

Oh yeah, that seems a totally precautionary DL stint. 10 DL encourages that. Smart move - get it right early.

On September 22, 2014, John Hart was named as the Braves interim general manager after the Braves released general manager Frank Wren. On October 23, 2014, Hart was hired as President of Baseball Operations for the Atlanta Braves. He resigned that position on November 17, 2017.
Ok, anyone noticing the Braves explosion of young talent fueling their first place standing and the fact that they top the NL in virtually every offensive category?

Finally.
Erik G went out with a flourish if yesterday were his last day, lifting his average to 391. Gio concludes his rehab hitting 321.
I suppose they're busy shopping them both today and seeing what best offer they get they'll hold on to the other guy. They're both capable of being major league regular but everyone knows the Indians have little leverage in making a deal other than the possibility of having received better ofiers.
