Civ:
Davis and Guyer will hit a little. Naquin won't.
Don't look now but Naquin has highest BA of anybody in lineup tonight.
Scored from 1st on a double by Lindor too with some nice base running.

I too am not a Naquin hater! Just think of an outfield of Chizehall, Naquin and Zimmer, all first round picks! If they could only stay healthy and hit a bit more!!!!!

Of course I was praising Naquin with faint damns. Having highest BA of that group at the time is nothing to blow horn about!
But I do like Naquin.

I think it will be interesting to give Naquin a much longer trial than he originally got. We know he put up good numbers at one point so I want to see where he's at with consistent MLB at bats.

Been a Naquin fan from day one. Made a major mistake on the biggest stage. Hopefully he put it behind him last year.

So with us going to Puerto Rico we can have a 26th man for the 2 game series. Who does the tribe bring up? Just found out has to be a position player.

that's a strange rule. The available position players who are on minor league option are:
Francisco Mejia
Eric Haase
Yandy Diaz
Willi Castro
Yu Chang
Greg Allen
Urshela is on his DL injury rehab. Chisnehall is on the DL.
None of the six are doing especially well. Haase has the best average, but hasn't started hitting homers. Chang and Castro are hitting below 200.
They can choose a RH OF Pinch Runner. Or a 3rd catcher switch hitter to use as a pinch hitter. Or a RH backup 3B who would be used as a PH for Naquin or Zimmer but wouldn't be able to replace them in the field.

Read earlier they were considering Allen but hadn't made decision yet.

Nice for Greg. He gets a little time in the sun during a chilly winter in April in the northeast. Still not sure I understand the point of the roster addition, but why not.

Well this became a moot point:
Mike Napoli suffered a torn right ACL and meniscus at Triple-A Columbus that will require season-ending surgery.
Napoli is expected to need 10-14 months of rehab. Given that he will turn 37 in October, the injury has the potential to be a career-ender. Napoli was off to a 1-for-24 start at Columbus after signing a minor league contract with the Indians this spring.
