Indians optioned OF Tyler Naquin to Triple-A Columbus.
Michael Brantley (ankle) will be activated from the disabled list in a corresponding move. Naquin went 2-for-12 with a home run in his brief stay with the big club.

Don't expect Tyler back in Cleveland again, unless there's another DL situation to deal with. Tito doesn't care for him [and he cannot deal with low pitches] although he won't get quite the Abe Almonte treatment.

Hard to hit in freezing temps so I'll give the offense a pass. But the pitching and the defense remain outstanding and that's what should carry these guys into the offseason. At some point they'll have to trade for an everyday right handed hitter to patrol RF. If Brantley can avoid another injury he's solid team leader in left and Zimmer fields so well he keeps the job in center field if he keeps his OPS over .500. Naquin can't hit low pitches and Chisenhall will miss most of the year again with injuries. Davis is perfect 4th outfielder.
I doubt they'll deal until the All Star game; let's hope that the tradeable commodities [Gomes or Perez] [Chang or Castro] [Salazar] keep or get healthy. I was planning in including Chisenhall in my package but he'll be spending the spring with his ankle in a hot tub

No please.
I am higher on Yandy than anybody but have seen quite enough of him in the OF.

Yandy needs to hit the ball for power. Now he's a singles hitter.

At this point we will take singles. ANY hits!

They'll warm up. Or at least Lindor and Ramirez and Brantley will. Probably Kipnis and Alonso. EE in June. Zimmer and the catchers won't hit much but they sure can play defense. Davis and Guyer will hit a little. Naquin won't.

6-5 record for a team with team batting average of 158 is pretty amazing. Only guys hitting over the Mendoza Line are part time OFs Chisenhall, Naquin and Davis. Our monster IF of Kipnis, Lindor and Ramirez is 16 for 123 [.130]. Ramirez has two good numbers to show for himself: team leading 2 homers; and a great K/BB ratio of 2/8.
Of course it's all been pitching and defense; the only errors in 11 games are two throws by Perez.

Got my cast off today! And cleared to walk. I broke my right ankle Feb 5. It's been a long recovery!

That's pretty quick rehab; you're obviously in much better share than Michael Brantley or Lonnie Chisenhall
