Don't get me wrong, much much rather have Osuna.

Assuming that doesn't happen, I will say the Tribe has done a pretty good job in the bargain basement department.

If you're going to shop in the bargain basement, wait for leftovers in February.

Lots of miles on Shaw.

Tito and Callaway milked Shaw for all he was worth. They knew he probably wasn't coming back so they didn't care about limiting his workload.

Anybody trading for Ozuna probably has to take Tazawa and his $7M salary also. Don't think he could handle Shaw's workload but could probably eat some non-critical innings.

Go get Ozuna!!!!!

It will be interesting to see how Shaw does in the thin air of Colorado.

From Buster Olney:

Sources: Bryan Shaw's deal with the Rockies is for three years, for something in the range of $9 million annually.

Just posted an article that shows maybe we will be better off without Shaw.

So...will we get Hosmer or Abreu?

Doubt Hosmer....Boras client.

Only chance is Boras overprices Hosmer and dries up all buyers.

Has happened before so all hope is not lost.

Ozuna in 2017: 312/376/548. Don't know how to read defensive stats, but 10 assists from LF sounds good. WAR 5.8 [that's good I guess?]. 27 years old. Arbitration eligible in 2018. FA eligible in 2020.

Rumor going around that the cubs and Indians have talked about Salazar. Indians looking for a lefty bat. One would assume Schwarber. Eh?

Schwarber managed to produce only 59 RBI with 30 homers and 16 doubles and a few singles. He must be quite adept at the solo homer.

Ian Happ is a switch hitter, 253/328/524 and 68 RBI and 24 homers n fewer at bats than Schwarber and strikes out a little more often.
