You don't get Major League hitters out with fastballs unless they're in the high 90s.
Pinpoint location, movement and change of speed gets hitters out.

Thanks for all the references. I guess the only real question about Morgan is whether his super change will continue to lead to similar level of success at the higher levels, but he sure has passed the three tests he has taken so far and I hope they push him along rapidly. I assume they will; Indians got Bieber through the system in less than twelve months and did about the same with Cody Allen and Kyle Crockett. [so it doesn't always mean long-term success but they know talent when they see it]

And to prove I have nothing against BA let me share a tweet from one of their guys.

Ben Badler @BenBadler
The Indians promoted 17-year-old sleeper shortstop Brayan Rocchio to the AZL after he hit .323/.391/.434 in the DSL. Disciplined hitter, uses his hands well, high baseball IQ player nicknamed The Professor.

Your guy Rocchio is doing fine with his promotion. And filling in for the absent Marcos Gonzalez. Our shortstop collection continues to grow.

The AZL 1 team went deep into the night, I just updated my post with their game. Remember Lopez that had a nice hot streak last year? He’s doing pretty good again this year. And Rodriguez is doing pretty good too.

They have 3 Rodriguezes among the 2 AZL teams, but we only are interested, so far, in Johnathan, 18 year old RF with a patient approach, and that's who you're talking.
Speaking of the Rods, Ronny has been up and down for the Tigers this year, getting his major league baptism. Luigi is still in AA with the Braves.

our preseason Top 31 in action yesterday:
CLE HiA Capel, Conner CF 4 2 2 1 .263 2B (15), SB (10) [I hadn't noticed his average had slipped so far down]

CLE HiA Ice, Logan C 3 0 0 0 .196 BB (14) [can't hit but they say he's a good defender, so could go Rule 5 some day like Tony Wolters did]

CLE R Collins, Gavin 3B 4 0 1 0 .231
CLE R Rodriguez, Johnathan RF 6 0 2 1 .295 2B (5)

Really solid start for the draft picks and we've not really seen the top 3; Naylor got into his first game Tuesday and Hankins and Torres have not seen action. A whole lot of Indians-typical college pitchers with great K/BB numbers. And Palacios and Delgado are hitting like fiends.
