I know it's The Show and not Little League, but I'd think about any guy in the minors swinging a good bat at any position and take a chance on his glove in right field. Guys that have made it to AA and AAA are certainly athletes that can adapt and make do.

Hey, Timmy Lupus played right field in the original Bad News Bears.

It's not an ideal solution, but it would make for a good story....

My only ray of hope at this point is Chisenhall hitting, and calling up Kipnis and he gets hot.

That kind of thing can be contagious.

However, I sure would prefer a deal for an established quality hitter.

As posted on one of the other forums, Chisenhall is unlikely to be a dynamic all-star hitter. If we get 270 and 10 homers from him for half a season we'll be fortunate. He could be a steady bat, but he's still raw. Kipnis is more complete hitter; about the same numbers vs LH and RH and can steal bases. Should be an above avg 2B as a hitter. IFIFIF Santana hits as he's supposed to the 3 of them along with Asdrubal and Brantley make a good core to which I think LaPorta can join and Hafner can supplement. Maybe
