Having Kipness in CF has not worked out. Ramirz at 3rd, kipnis. At 2nd Jackson in center would have been much better kip at 3rd.

Wow, I just saw video of EE running in the outfield, and he looked good!

The Yanks could have used either CC or Sonny Gray for this game.
We all know teams like to use lefties against the Tribe. Sure would be nice to have EE back for that one!

CC, now is the Skanks soft-tossing lefty.

Totally agree, I posted that before series started too. I would have used him as 4th starter and Salazar in pen. And Goody instead of Tomlin on roster.
That last one I may be wrong about though. Tomlin has been good. He's a tough Texan.

Get the sense that Cleveland fans have returned to our normal pessimism. Probably not appropriate but hard habit to kick after half a century or more.

The Indians pretended to sell tickets for the ALCS this morning. These are the prices they posted.
At 10 AM, when they first went on sale, I selected ONE ticket for "Best Available" I got this message.

Pretty quiet here. We are all a bit shocked as well as bitterly disappointed, I’m sure. Hard to get excited for offseason this year but interesting decisions to be made. Brantley, Bruce, Santana, Shaw, Smith. Even Kipnis.
Dolan really stepped up this year. I wonder where they go from here.

That was quite an amazingly bad game. I don't comprehend what happened to Kluber. Hitters get into slumps, although no reason to have expected one from Ramirez who was still roaring a couple weeks back. Then he turned ice cold. Why? Corey lacked his pinpoint command two starts in a row. Why? The near-perfect defense sputtered badly last two games. Why? The only logical piece of this is that Edwin got hurt and that Brantley was nowhere ready to step in but that alone shouldn't have lost us the series.

Only RBI hits from Perez, who could have hit cleanup the way he knocked in runs the past two months [and since Gomes was doing the same he could have been a more useful DH than Edwin and Michael--- but not suggesting that Tito really have made those adjustements] and Gio, who is well-established as the worst bat on the team. Logical explanations are absent.

There was some insinuation in post game presser that Kluber was not 100%. His back may have been acting up again.

Still trying to get the vomit out of my mouth.
Block C stands for CHOKE.
3 chances to win 1 game.
The great Tito couldn't get his team ready to win 1 game.
Happened last year in the WS but Tito was given a pass because of pitching injuries.
Happened again because Tito was choking on a mouthful of seeds.
Defense was awful.
Pitching was worn down by Skanks long ABs.
Hitters didn't have a clue and were guessing at every pitch.
This team is much better than they played.
Skanks outplayed, outcoached and outsmarted them.
Maybe Tito should ask John Farrell if the door hit him in the ass on the way out.
It's a bitch when the bubble bursts.

Complete organizational fail with the exception of Dolan. Cant blame him for this one. The team obviously pushed too hard in Sept for no reason. The Yankees were always the top competition and they pushed to get the top spot only to get the top competitor. The organization picks the roster. There were some very curious decisiona. It seems like they were doing favors to old timers Kipnis and Brantley rather than getting the best 25. These 2 were basically useless. We should have all suspected that the team was trying to pull the wool over our eyes with that ridiculous Kluber picking 2nd day decision because you want him for the 5th game on full rest. Never heard that in all my years watching baseball. He obviously was not right and that was why Francona went with the order he did. We had multiple reliable starting pitchers and I think a better outcome may have occurred with a little bravery on the manager's part.. Our so called stars spit the bit as usual. Lindor wanting that big fat contract had a big fail. The Cleveland "MVP" Ramirez played the outfield not second base. Even our next level relief stud gave up a big fat homer and lost pivotal game 3. Team played like they believed their press clippings. We lost a lot when our clean up hitter went down. This was a most unenjoyable series to watch.

VERY disappointing. This was supposed to be our year!
Started out slow this season, then caught fire, 22 game win streak, surpassed the Astros for the best record, won 102 games, then the first 2 games of the series against NY (the last one should have given us momentum) but...then...we....just...........stopped.
