We know what we have here, and that we are a good team from top to bottom. Even when we started out slow this year, no one was too fazed by that. We kept our cool. Everybody knew this team wasn’t playing up to its potential. If we prepared the way our coaching staff expected and took care of business it would come around.

We knew we had another gear.

We also knew that timing was everything — you want to be playing your best at the end of the year and we realized that as long as we did that we’d be in good shape. The long baseball season turned out to be a good thing for us.

LOL, pretty sure we discussed this earlier in the season. What Miller says here speaks for itself. They knew they had another gear.

Thanks guys! I got a great present last night. I kept telling my wife, they won’t lose on my birthday. Don’t count them out.

Only thing sweeter is it was against the Yankees.

I went out of town this weekend for my birthday, so you could say my birthday was a 4 day weekend. Unfortunately when I arrived home tonight it was 0-0, so my birthday celebration should have lasted just a tad longer. I think I'll celebrate again tomorrow.

Nah, 2016 was the year I learned to Trust in Tito! Somehow the guy took a team with 1 and 1/2 starting pitchers and ran through the playoffs and all the way to game 7 with it.
