Would be nice if Naylor could stick at catcher with a bat like that.

The writeups I've read have all suggested he move to 3rd base. They suggest he'll never be more than avg as a catcher and he'd be able to progress much faster if he doesn't have to develop his catching skills. The bat is so good that we'd be better off getting to the majors sooner, "experts" say

I don't know if there's more to Loopstok than a great name. He hit his 9th homer, tied with Bradley for team lead; drew his 29th walk, almost even with his 35 strikeouts. OPS is now 874.
In Akron relief, veteran Jon Edwards 1 2/3 perfect innings; Jordan Milbrath 1 1/3 perfect innings; Mitch Brown 1 perfect inning

Lake County posts 3 all stars:
Kyle Nelson — LHP, Lake County
Tommy DeJuneas — RHP, Lake County
Will Benson OF
Which is an interesting assortment. Nelson's a 21 year old lefty, with an ERA of 0.44, [finally allowed a run], WHIP o.84. 26 K in 21 IP.
DeJuneas is a righty reliever with an ordinary ERA of 3.76 and WHIP 1.22; but also plenty of strikeouts: 34 in 26 innings. 22 year old in Low A.
Benson is of course our 1st pick in 2016, He has 9 homers, he's drawn 38 walks, and all his other stats are terrible. AVG 193; 64K; 3/7 stealing bases.

Guyer is struggling to hit .100. Tito tells us that he comes off rehab by the end of the week, but he's circumspect enough not to say that Guyer returns to the Tribe. He certainly seems to have earned himself a release

I'm watching game till Cavs start. Zimmer is 0-2 with 2 K. Just struck out in 2nd with a couple guys on to end threat. Bieber has 4 K thru 2 but has allowed a couple hits and a run. Though one of the hits was because Guyer lost the ball in the tough sun in LF at Huntington Park this time of evening.
Holy crap, he just walked a guy in 3rd.

Well almost time for Cavs so going to leave it. Bieber pitched 4 innings. 5 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 6 K. Announcers say Bieber is a creature of habit and when he gets out of his ruitine it screws him up a bit. That may explain why he always seems a bit wild any time he is first promoted. (a bit wild for him is a walk or two) But then becomes crazy good from then on out. I dunno. But he wasn't all that bad tonight.
Zimmer 0-3 with 3 K
Yandy 3-3 with a double.
Mejia hit a liner into left that dropped but Chang had to hold up cause he wasn't sure if it would be caught, and he got thrown out at 2nd. So Mejia is 0-2, but he had a hit.
