That's a stat.

Chisenhall's bases loaded double was only the SECOND hit of the YEAR for The Indians with two outs and bases loaded, say The Tribe announcers.

Manny Acta giving Masterson the chance to blow past 100 pitches and go for the complete game.

And he gets 2 K's to start the inning.....

And strikes out Votto and the side to finish the complete game in style.

With tomorrow being an off day, our entire pen gets a solid two days off before we start a ten game road trip.

Next game in Cleveland is July 2nd.

HUSKER said that he was going to be there tonight, too. But he never got back to me with his seat location.

OK! It's time to show some consistency. That Red's series is a nice place to start.

I'm with Acta. The trading deadline must net us a couple of right handed batters that can produce.

Carlos Quentin was available at one time this spring. Wonder if he still is out there. I would still like to give Guerrero a shot. I read where Denard Span, Josh Willingham, Peter Bourjos, and Carlos Lee could be available. I'd place a serious bid in for Yasel Puig.

Cuban outfielder Yasel Puig defects, seeks free agency

By Dayn Perry | Baseball Blogger

Cuban outfielder Yasel Puig may have a higher ceiling than Yoenis Cespedes of the A's and Jorge Soler of the Cubs. That's important because the 21-year-old outfielder has defected from Cuba and is currently seeking to establish residence in Mexico.

"As of Monday morning, I submitted information to Major League Baseball and the Players Association that he has taken up residency in Mexico and will shortly establish legal permanent residency in Mexico," Puig's agent Jaime Torres said [MLB.com]. "We should have documentation of his legal permanent residency in Mexico soon and as soon as I have that, I will submit it to Major League Baseball and I hope and expect that he will be declared a free agent immediately."

Puig will have a showcase for major-league scouts later this week in Mexico City. His combination of youth and success at the upper reaches of Cuban baseball figures to make him a coveted talent on the market. Puig did not play last season in Cuba because he was being disciplined for a previous attempt at defection, but in 2009-10 in Serie Nacional, Cuba's top league, he batted .330 with 17 home runs.

As the MLB.com story notes, Puig must first be declared a free agent by Major League Baseball and then cleared by the Treasury Department before he's free to engage in formal negotiations

Maybe we can sneak in an Oakland A's type of surprise that they pulled off for Yoenis Cespedes? How about it Mr. Dolan ???
