I agree with your thoughts on the Tuesday game and expressed elsewhere my concerns about overtaxing the back of the bullpen. I think Tito is trying a little too hard to preserve the winning streak. I sort of hope we lose soon so he can concentrate on the long game.
and thank you Carlos!

@Twitter Thoughts on an indefinite increase in the character limit for names on your wonderful app?
Asking for us.
.
So the Indians twitter account adds a W to the beginning of their twitter handle for each win during the streak. The streak has gotten so long that they have ran out of characters and had to delete s off end of name.

CHICAGO -- MVP candidate Jose Ramirez was not in the starting lineup Thursday night against the White Sox because of a sore right wrist as the Indians went for their 15th straight win.
Manager Terry Francona said Ramirez could miss the next couple of games to make sure he's all right for the stretch run.
Francona also said that right-hander Danny Salazar will start pitching out of the bullpen on Sunday.

The Indians' winning streak is now larger than their magic number!

Perhaps Salazar's career should be in the bullpen. But that doesn't guarantee he won't get hurt every year

Andre just said they are now moving Salazar to the pen. At least for now.

Look, with Kluber, Carrasco, Bauer and Clevinger in the postseason - Salazar could be quite the weapon airing it out for an inning or 2.
Don't bother with the fancy stuff (you can't control it anyways) just bring it.

That's what Francona said this afternoon, and what I posted above.

So Greg Allen hits his first major league home run tonight, and Francisco Mejia gets another base hit.
Once again, thank you Jonathan LuCroy.
Two home runs for Erik Gonzalez tonight. I cannot believe some team didn't snatch him up at the deadline. He should be starting at SS for some MLB team. Real shame.

Indians are the first team in 60 years, since the '57 Reds, to go 11-0 on a road trip.
Wow

Easier said than done, but when that Lucroy thing happened people thought the sky had fallen.
Turns out the sky would have fallen if he would have accepted!
Meanwhile Mejia is on the way.
Gotta let it play out.

Wow
I can't help think about the recent Royals who lost in the WS one year and were on a mission the next year. Hmmm
And I know it's debatable, but I believe they had a hard time taking it seriously until GO time. Not consciously but subconsciously.
August and September are GO time!

Anyone seen an update on Miller? Despite winning 15! in a row without him, I cannot see them winning the whole thing without. No need to rush him, but i'm sure they would like to have him for a couple weeks of in season "rehab" before the postseason.

Yesterday Francona said that Miller would throw a bullpen session tomorrow off the field mound at the Jake to have a more realistic feel. Going to go from there.
(Tomorrow is now today, of course, since it was yesterday that he said tomorrow... LOL)
