The others are Trosky (1934, 1936), M. Ramirez (1996), and Sizemore (2006).

I think I remember my Dad telling me that. Earl Averill, a Trosky teammate, lasted longer but he didn't arrive in the big leagues, I see, until he was 27 and had his best season when he was 34.

I actually like this lineup. Just wish Naquin were playing CF batting 8th instead of Abe.

Something has been driving me crazy since last night. I hesitate to mention it cause the strategy worked and we won. But Tomlin and Salazar was just added to roster. Along with Kluber, Carrasco, Bauer, Clevinger and Merritt, and Morimando, we have 8 starting pitchers on the roster.

So why, last night when Salazar had to be removed in the 1st inning, did Tito not put one of the extra starting pitchers in for a long relief role instead of burning up the entire bullpen?

Andre Knott just reported that we have 3 relievers who are not available tonight now, including Shaw and Smith. Allen had pitched 3 out of 4 nights as of last night, and while he didn't pitch in the game he still ended up having to get up and warm up 2 or 3 different times. I would even hate to have to use him tonight.

Just seems like sticking Clevinger or Merritt in there at that time and trying to get 5 good innings out of them could have gone a long way to saving our pen for tonight. And if you aren't going to use them in a long relief role at this point when will they be used. Seems like only action they may see now. Just didn't make any sense to me. But we won....

And thankfully Carrasco is giving us a gem tonight so it ended up not being an issue.

Had Carrasco been knocked out early tonight though ....
