The only 2 guys on the 40 man roster who are n't here yet, excluding the four on the DL, are Naquin and Armstrong. The latter has driven back and forth from Columbus so much, they probably thought he was with the Indians already but simply couldn't locate him in the crowded bullpen.
The best news for Forumites is that if Naquin gets the call that leaves no room for Michael Martinez, who did have a very solid last couple months.

If No. 1 and 2 rated teams stay that way through October, it will be replay of the 1920 series, and we won that one.

I've been scouring Twitter all morning hoping to see the news but not yet. Guess I'll have to wait till I wake up.

Not on Indians.com, but of course that's the last place to look, I discovered last week.

If he doesn't get called up now we know there is something else going on behind the scenes we're not privy to yet.
I read that Zim does NOT have a concussion.

Terry Francona gives Jay Bruce another day off
CHICAGO -- Outfielder Jay Bruce, who has supplied the Indians with offensive production since being acquired from the Mets, was not in the starting lineup for the third straight game Monday because of a stiff neck.
Manager Terry Francona said Bruce slept wrong during the weekend series against Detroit and woke up with a stiff neck. He has not played since starting in left field in Game 2 of Friday’s doubleheader at Comerica Park.
“He’s doing better, but I think we’re going to wait one more day,” said Francona on Monday before a four-game series against the White Sox. “I just hate to (put a guy in the lineup) if he’s been sitting for a couple of days with a stiff neck or stiff back and you play him too quick.
“We can get rid of this thing. I think one more day will really help him.”
Bruce is hitting .278 (20-for-72) with five doubles, four homers and 14 RBI since the Indians acquired him on Aug. 9.

Curious who has the most playing time among our regularly injured outfielders this season. In order of plate appearances:
Brantley 366
Zimmer 312
Jackson 243
Chisenhall 222
Almonte 172
Guyer 172
Robertson 87
Bruce 80
Naquin 25
Allen 8

Although Altuve, Judge and Ramirez will probably be the final three, perhaps in that order for MVP, the only reason any of them have a chance is that Trout missed a bunch of games. His stats are unreal: SLG 660, OBP 465, OPS 1125: blow away all those guys

That means EVERYONE on the 40-man roster is now with the team, although Miller, Brantley and Kipnis remain on the DL.
I don't think I recall bringing the whole crowd to Cleveland before. Usually there are a few lower minor leaguers on the roster not yet ready for the big league.
Well, actually I guess one man is not here: Plutko who was shipped to Lynchburg to give the Hillcats an unfair advantage in the Carolina League playoffs.
they already have McKenzie, minor league's strikeout king, and Civale who finished 11-2 in Lynchburg after a promotion in May; Sean Brady who has excelled since he finally returned from rehab a few weeks ago; Dominic DiMasi who doesn't strike anyone out but also doesn't give up runs; and Brock Hartson who finished with a 3.06 ERA.
