DeMasi is starting for Columbus today, in place I guess of Ogando; he was in the bullpen in Akron.
Benson is indeed hitting below 200 but at least he has 5 homers and a ton of walks. Jones has fewer walks and homers and a batch of errors, disappointing.
Mitch Longo is back into the multi=hits every day mode he had last summer, but please Mitch lets drive some of those.

He took Crash Davis' advice. Only had 3 strikeouts. He was democratic and not fascist. LOL

Only 20+ of his pitches in the 9 inning CG were balls.

Love the fact the Indians organization is pushing the need to throw strikes. Just look at the Indians game yesterday. 4-0 lead blown because Clevinger walked 2 batters then Allen fell behind everybody he faced.

He's having such a better offensive season than Mejia, I want to know more about his defense. Mejia is rated an "80" arm on the 20-80 scale but needed some work on other receiving skills. Of course ,he's been spending a lot of his time in the outfield, while his offense has collapsed.

With McKenzie still in the desert, Bobby Bradley started to hit homers but remains under 200 in his Akron return, and Nolan Jones under 200 in Lake County, our top prospects are making zero headway this spring. Bieber was No 5 on the BA list preseason and is certainly the most effective of any of our players to date.

Sorry. No Hablo Ingles.

Oh c'mon Dennis, the writer of this opinion piece is obviously crazy. I mean, look at #7. He has First Energy Stadium listed in Reading, PA. Everybody knows First Energy Stadium is in Cleveland and is home to the Cleveland Browns minor league football team!

8-)

Some other notes on Sunday games:

MITCH LONGO also was a hit by a pitch and left for a pinch runner.
Good hitters, poor baserunners: Ernie Clement CS 4th in 10 tries; Austen Wade CS 4th in 9 tries

Akron pitching: Sean Brady 6 3 1 0 1 4
Mitch Brown remains sharp, is he perhaps developing into a competent relief pitcher? 2 1/3 1 0 0 1 3 For the season:
12 1/3 5 1 1 3 14 0.68
