well, they're not likely to bring him to the majors until some time in AAA.

I do realize that but it's not like MLB teams don't have guys skipping AAA now and again - especially if they are rolling.

Plutko after a disapointing 2017 season had off-season hip surgery and looks like he's getting back to his old form.

Well Morimando has been placed on the 7 day DL and Bieber has been called up to AAA to replace him. So here comes some AAA experience.

as usual no pitchers. Getting the hint, I am hoping, the Indians will finally go for pitchers at the top of their draft this year. We have some terrific major league starters but need a lot more depth.

Longo hit .327 in April and reached base in all 19 games he played in. He hit .288 overall, but batted .328 since being inserted into the leadoff spot in the order.

LHP Ben Krauth had a dominant April, striking out 23 batters in 12.1 IP. He had a 0.73 ERA and had the 2nd-most K’s in the league for a pitcher who had not started a game. BAA was just .053 against him in April, the lowest mark in the league.

Longo can get hits, but he's going to have to show more offensive variety to succeed as a corner OF. Power is so important nowadays that I am afraid he'll wind up topping out at AAA or at best AAAA type. But we'll see.

Mostly day games today. Columbus 5-3 winner. Mike Papi with HR #2. Eric Haase who has been consipicuously a singles hitter for a change this season, hit his 2nd triple. Mejia was 0-2. Chang 7th double and a walk. Jordan Milbrath rumored to be a hardthrower in the pen worked 2 1/3 3 1 1 1 2.

Austen Wade singled, doubled, walked twice, stole a base. He should be ahead of Benson and Jones since he's a college kid, 2 years older.
Jones and Benson both hitless, but Jones drew 3 walks, Benson 1. Jones is hitting 163 with 13 walks. Benson 192 with 18 walks, and those 5 homers.
