well, they're not likely to bring him to the majors until some time in AAA.

I do realize that but it's not like MLB teams don't have guys skipping AAA now and again - especially if they are rolling.

Longo hit .327 in April and reached base in all 19 games he played in. He hit .288 overall, but batted .328 since being inserted into the leadoff spot in the order.

LHP Ben Krauth had a dominant April, striking out 23 batters in 12.1 IP. He had a 0.73 ERA and had the 2nd-most K’s in the league for a pitcher who had not started a game. BAA was just .053 against him in April, the lowest mark in the league.

Longo can get hits, but he's going to have to show more offensive variety to succeed as a corner OF. Power is so important nowadays that I am afraid he'll wind up topping out at AAA or at best AAAA type. But we'll see.
