Do they make up categories just to tout achievements?

Just what I always wanted to know..... who holds the modern day record for extra base hits in a 7 game span (sarcasm)?

Here's another on you'll like, SEAGULL.

Retweeted MLB Stat of the Day (@MLBStatoftheDay):

Corey Kluber has 6 games with 10-or-more Ks and 0 walks.

Dating back to 1913, no other @Indians pitcher has more than 3.

I may have instigated the stat Seagull:
That's 19 hits in his last 7 games for Ramirez. (2,3,3,3,2,3,3) 9 doubles, 1 triple, and 3 homers, 11 runs scored. I can't recall a streak like this in a looooong time. Gotta be some kind of record I would think.

The only stat I'm interested in is 69 years since the Indians won a World Series.

Indians and Twins are going to play a 2 game series in Puerto Rico next April. I bet Frankie and Perez are happy about that.
