Obviously we are very biased, but that DID look fair to me as it crossed where the pole is.

I absolutely thought the ball curved over the top of the pole. It's a damn shame that blast didn't count.

Terry Francona says he's thought about flip-flopping Carlos Santana and Edwin Encarnacion in lineup now that EE has started to produce.

Well just keep thinking about it Tito. Everything is fine. Team is really clicking and way ahead in division.

Geez. Should have made the move days ago.

this is just not looking like a successful season. Bauer matches Kershaw and then the bullpen falls apart. Nothing is really clicking on this team. Lots of time to go and an easy division. Can't wait for the 14 game winning streak to turn it all around.

Francona was taken to the hospital after game. Rapid heart rate. Went to hospital, received IVs. "I guess I was really dehydrated."

"I was so out of it," said Franocna. "Millsie (Brad Mills) said a couple of things to me and I just looked at him. He got worried then."

Wow!

Not the way I want to meet the front runners.

How the mighty have fallen.

What's going on with Lindor?

I keep waiting for that streak that is going to help us pull away from the pack but it ain't happening. From the way things are going, .500 ball the rest of the way is not out of the question unless some miracle occurs soon.

Kluber just reached 1,000 strikeouts faster than any pitcher in Indians' history. Kluber did it in 148 appearances. Feller did it in 167.

This team SHOULD be playing a lot better. Maybe Tito can't motivate them any more?

Did Feller pitch some in relief between starts? Hard to imagine he averaged no more than 6K per game if the games.

Checked the stats, I looks like it was game 164 for Feller when he registered his 1000th K. 25 were relief appearances so the comparison with Kluber is a little inaccurate. But the amazing thing about him when Feller struck out his 1000th was that he was still only 22 years old!
At that age Kluber was struggling through a season split between Fort Wayne and Lake Elsinore.

Kluber is now age 31 plus 3 months. At that age Feller's strikeout total had reached 2229, despite missing nearly four full seasons to WWII
