Twins lost again last night on a walk off by Seattle.

Even though we have lost 5 of last 7 games we are still only 1 game out.

Francisco Lindor has ditched his blonde hair. "We haven't been winning, so I had to change it." Pretty big deal.

Thank goodness. Was ridiculous. Not as bad as Roberto Perez but bad.

HOT weather coming this week. Maybe the bats will heat up, too?

Former Ohio State safety and current Cleveland Brown, Tyvis Powell, is throwing out the first pitch at the Indians game tonight.

Well the Browns just cut him...

Pretty crappy move if you ask me. He's a local Cleveland kid, could have waited a few days to make the cut.

I just read that the Browns didn't know he was throwing out first pitch when they cut him. Too bad.

He is still going to throw out first pitch.

As I posted in the GameTime™ folder:

You would think that they would have cameras on top of all the foul poles in every park, facing directly toward home. Don't have to be fancy, just good enough to see the path of the balls.

Anything hit high enough and far enough should be called fair, if there is any doubt.

And also from the minors folder that you may have missed ...

Lake County Captains‏ @LCCaptains
Confirmed: Ryan Merritt is back in a Captains uniform and will start tonight's game at 7pm. The @BGHotRods must be shaking in their boots.

Rumor is Merritt was moved to Lake County for tonights start so he could stay on schedule to pitch Saturday in one of the double header games for Cleveland against Minnesota. (Columbus and Akron are off tonight)

Agree - and maybe that exact example will get the attention of the replay office of MLB.
