Encarnacion, who doubled and struck out three times Monday, is hitting .208 (32-for-154) with seven homers and 17 RBI. He's hitting .116 (5-for-43) with two homers and 10 RBI with runners in scoring position.

That's a minor improvement; he was something like 3-32 when I looked a week ago.

Yeah, I felt bad for Edwin yesterday. He turned on a pitch inside and hit it as hard and far as any ball I've seen in a while. Not sure but may have went out of the park in that left field corner. But it went just foul. Seems like that is the way it goes when you're going bad. And when you're going good you'll hit a little bloop off the end of the bat that falls between everybody.

From Al Pawlowski ...
Billy Hamilton has been caught stealing just 3 times in 26 attempts. @Yan_AGomes got him last night. He's nailed 11 of 20 - tops in @MLB

Was is Perez last year who was the only catcher to nab someone we met in the playoffs?
Those two have great arms.
And now Yan can hit again, too.
Mejia's another "80" arm [on scouts scale where 80, for some reason, is perfect score]

Civ, he made some big time throws in post season for sure, but I think the one you might be referring to is when he threw out Terrance Gore of the Royals last year. Gore had been a perfect 17 for 17 in steal attempts until he ran on Perez. I think it was 9th inning of the game and helped close out a close win for us that night too.

For those [or Joes] who want Ramirez to hit 4th with Edward and Carlos at 8th and 9th, even disregarding the performance of those two the last two nights, I note that in May Ramirez has hit: 183/266/268 with 3 RBI

Austin Jackson scheduled to play rehab game Thursday for Class AAA Columbus. Expected to be activated after that.

Chisenhall placed on 7 day DL with concussion. That will open up a spot for Jackson's return.
If Robertson keeps playing like he is I'm not so sure I'd send him down when Chiz gets back. Think I might bid farewell to Mr. Jackson..
Zimmer looks like he might be ready for bright lights. Like he belongs. And Robertson has played stellar D and provided a spark.
I've seen nothing from Jackson.

Game time for Columbus has been pushed back due to weather, and Kluber has been scratched from start. Peoples is starting now. Hope that is to line up Cleveland rotation and not because of a set back. Backs can be tricky.

Good news, Kluber's start was pushed back due to weather. Probably didn't want his back pitching on a cool rainy evening that could end up delayed mid game. He is going to start tomorrow in Columbus.

Oops, now they're saying Kluber will start for AA Akron tomorrow.
