I've also seen him had some crazy bad luck on balls he hit well. No worries about our catching - our pitchers love them and that works for me.

Why is EE not playing first? Did I miss something? I know therewas a problem with him not hitting earlier, but seems like he is DHing.

Santana is considered the better fielder; the expectation at the time of signing EE is that he would get most of his time as DH.

The team to beat is Detroit! Or is it? When I'm not watching the Indians, I check in every once in a while on the Cubs and White Sox. I gotta be honest, I think Chicago is going to have some say in what goes on in the division. I like their pitching, notably the back end of the bullpen. The offense is coming along and it's not going to be too long before Moncada gets the promotion from Charlotte.

Well, the Sox were leading the whole game today, but just blew that in the 9th...

...but they came back and scored 2 in the 10th.

Six in a row for Chicago. I think they are a legitimate threat.

Tonight in Columbus.

Clevinger 6(IP) 7H 1R 1ER 2BB 5SO

Diaz 2-4 R 2B 3RBI

I'm sick of being patient with Bauer. Bring Clevinger up already. He's been doing great in AAA again.

Yandy has had 5 hits and 8 RBI last two days. Seeing us struggle against lefties makes me think we need to bring him up soon too. Trotting Martinez out there last night against our rivals is a damn disgrace.

No reason not to have Yandy as our super utility guy or at least regular vs lefties.. Ramirez can be the backup to 2nd and 3rd. We're one OF short anyway, so Yandy can spell Brantley when necessary.

Actually Brantley doesn't hit lefties too bad. But Guyer has been darn near worthless so far this year. Almonte not much better. And they are giving Kipnis time off while he eases back. Plenty opportunities for at bats for Yandy.
