Colon and Garner are longshots to have it made it this far and have been hot and cold. Armstrong is inconsistent but not yet worn out his welcome. Crockett is much less impressive than his debut season. Merritt will never be better than a Lefty Tomlin but hard-worker will be given more opportunities.

Swisher was largely correct. But he could also have included "No Swisher"

Haver they not been doing the O H I O song because of Swisher?

Yan Gomes was hit on the right hand during a rehab assignment with Double-A Akron on Wednesday, Paul Hoynes of The Plain Dealer reports.
Gomes was expected to rejoin the Indians on Friday but Hoynes indicates that his return could be pushed back pending the results of tests on his hand. The team should provide another update on his status when the results are returned.

I saw that, should cut the rescheduled games in half for next year.

Don't forget that it was mid-April when they had to move a series to Milwaukee.
