The Eagles struck first in the Final Series, they beat the Tigers 8 for 1

SANTO DOMINGO. - The Panamanian Johan Camargo defined the game with a swing of the bat. Camargo fired a three-run homer in the opening of the eighth inning that broke the tie leading to the 8-1 win that overtook the Cibaeñas Eagles over the Tigres del Licey in the final.

With a Quisqueya-Juan Marichal stadium sold at full capacity with Albert Pujols, the owner of the Cubs, Tom Ricketts, and the president of the team, Theo Epstein, in the stands, the game was challenged at a high level as these two teams have been accustomed to. The two teams are fierce rivals of the autumn-winter ball.

Jair Jurrjens for the blues and the American Michael Roth for the yellow gave little space in the first 6.1 and 6.0 innings where they tolerated four and five hits, respectively.

At the opening of the eighth the game was defined. With one out, Perez singled to center and Espinal was walked by Antolin, who was replaced by Rafael Martin and Camargo, in a favorable 2-0 count, took a fastball down the middle to send the ball over the wall between the central and right to score three runs.

In the ninth, the visitors put the game away with a 4-run rally capped off with an Espinal double with the bases loaded good for three runs.
