We are within 4.5 games of the 2nd place Twins. We will never catch the Royals, but we could end up in 2nd. Detroit and Chicago are total messes, and the Twinkies have some health issues. I thought that Lindor's career was likely to run like Omar's: start out as a great field, no hit SS and then gradually develop some offense.

Wrong.

Lindor just whacked his 7th homer yesterday; in 274 plate appearances. At age 21 3/4.
Vizquel didn't hit the majors until he was 22. He finished his 6th season with the same 7 homers. By then he was age 27 and had 2677 plat appearances. Lindor got there in 1/10 of the time.
