tfiir You're right about that level of game experience. I am just not that comfortable thinking that he's maturing enough, but his talent level is exceedingly high.

and hb: No I missed the Zimmer story. It's certainly time!

Not that I know of, Civ. And even though I like Allen a lot I would hope he does not get moved up yet. Not sure he is quite ready. He's had some good stretches, but has had his share of dry times too.

No Paulino, after 2.5 seasons in Lake County.

Tomlin, who I assume that is, got the start for the Scrappers and working into the 4th. hagadone faced one hitter in relief and left with an elbow injury.

Since Indians fans are now a documented minority, shouldn't we qualify for special privileges and accommodations?

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- TV ratings for the Cleveland Indians have dropped 30 percent since this time last year.

The change represents the third-largest decrease among the 29 major league teams based in the United States,
according to a report by Sports Business Daily. Only the Atlanta Braves and the Chicago White Sox have experienced a steeper decline.

The Indians are averaging a 4.21 rating on SportsTime Ohio, according to the report. Last season, the Indians drew a 6.17 local rating, which ranked fifth in the majors.

The Kansas City Royals, who own the best record in the American League, also boast the best local TV rating, at 12.06. That number is more than double the Royals' rating from the same time last year. The St. Louis Cardinals, Detroit Tigers, Pittsburgh Pirates and Baltimore Orioles round out the top five.

The Indians, who stand at 42-46, rank 29th among the league's 30 teams in attendance. They have averaged 17,513 fans for home games at Progressive Field this season.

I feel bad that the ratings are down, but this team has been pretty boring.

The only interesting thing is that all the SPs are so talented, and could have a great game pretty much every night. But some offense would go a long way.

I can't wait for his return. Just the offensive spark the team needs to make its playoff run.

Tomlin is making a rehab start for Columbus tomorrow. Despite getting smacked around in rookie ball last week.

Anybody know if he has any options left?

If we have to bring him up I would make it as a long man. I want to see more of Anderson.

I'm sure that Tomlin's role, if he has one, will be in relief. Lots of expendable parts in the pen: Manship, Webb, Adams. Although not sure if I want Tomlin back in any case.
