BA notes these lines. You'll like the offense better than the pitching:

CLE AA Rodriguez, Nellie 1B 4 0 1 0 .240
CLE AA Zimmer, Bradley CF 4 0 1 0 .250
CLE HiA Allen, Greg CF 5 0 1 1 .250 SB (7)
CLE HiA Papi, Mike 1B 3 1 1 1 .250 HR (1), BB (6)
CLE HiA Bradley, Bobby DH 4 1 2 1 .250 HR (1)
CLE LoA Castro, Willi SS 4 1 2 0 .464 3B (3)
CLE LoA Mejia, Francisco C 3 1 1 1 .421 BB (3)
CLE AA Plutko, Adam 1 5 5 5 2 1 6.75 L (1-1)
CLE AAA Armstrong, Shawn 1.1 2 0 0 1 2 0.00
CLE AAA Merritt, Ryan 4.2 9 4 4 2 3 7.71 L (0-1)
CLE HiA Brown, Mitch 4.2 6 5 5 5 4 7.71 L (0-1)

Frazier 2 run homer, his 2nd. Akron up 3-0 in the 9th. Diaz a single and a walk.
Columbus down 4-0. Erik Gonzalez a pair of hits.
Greg Allen a pair of walks. Picked off once. Luis Lugo surrenders a couple of bombs, that's been his problem often.
Captains just went ahead 3-2 on a 3-run blast by Bobby Ison. Krieger a single and a steal. I think I noted F Mejia's single and walk earlier [4walks, 2k to date]

Papi is ready to join the guys Akron if he keeps this up much longer. Of his 11 hits, five are doubles, four homers. He leads the Carolina League in homers. His 9 walks are 3rd in the league. He's tied for 3rd in doubles. Tied for second in total bases. Leads in slugging. 7th in On base pct. 2nd in OPS.

Greg Allen is hitting 297 [all singles] and leads the CL with his 11 walks in 48 TAB. That puts him 5th in On base pct. Tied for the lead with 10 steals.

Yesterday Allen, Paulino and Santander each with 2 hits. Besides Papi and his homer and 2 doubles, C Danny Salters also with 3 hit.

Justus Sheffield 4 1/3-3-1-1-2-4 2.03 for 19-year-old lefty: might be the youngest SP in the league.

For Akron, Clint Frazier is hitting 325. 8K vs 4BB is not bad. Zimmer went 0-5 to drop to 222, fanned 3 times. 13K 4 bb.
Nellie Rodriguez hit his 3rd homer and walked. 15K 5 BB.

Off day for Dace Kime to say the least. He faced 7 batters, walked 5 of them and was yanked. 3rd pick in 2013 with a 9.95 ERA after his first 2 AA starts.

for Columbus Erik Gonzalez 3 hits: 345. Urshela 3 hits. Ronny Rodriguez 2 hits.

And in Lake County F. Mejia with another 2-hit day, this time both were doubles. He's hitting 433 with OPS 1100, 4k=4BB

This is a BA writeup on Papi before his big day Sunday

Mike Papi, lf, Indians. The Indians have some terrific outfield depth—Tyler Naquin, Bradley Zimmer, Clint Frazier—so Papi gets overlooked in the organization. But scouts viewed Papi as an advanced bat when the Indians popped him in the second round in 2014 out of Virginia. He struggled in his full-season debut a year ago, in part due to a thumb injury. Now healthy and repeating high Class A Lynchburg, Papi is off to a good start, including slugging two homers Saturday. Overall, he’s 8-for-31 with three homers and eight walks. Papi has excellent plate discipline and led Indians minor leaguers a year ago with 80 free passes.

["Overlooked" implies not noticed. We noticed that he did not hit well last year. Never heard about the thumb, but if that was the cause and the first 10 games of 2016 are indicative of the real Mike Papi, he'll not escape notice.]
