@hoynsie: Indians recall right-hander CC Lee from Class AAA Columbus, option right-hander Austin Adams.

Adams is the only bullpenner other than our closer who has any options left so the move was inevitable.

Lee has pitched well lately. For the season: 23 IP, 18 H, 6 BB, 29 walks, 7 earned runs.
He was expected to be a major league fixture by now.

The Swisher fiasco signing reminds me of the Pronk fiasco signing.

We sign the guy and he goes belly up with injuries/sucking.

Long time waiting for that contract to run its course.

The old HGH to get a contract..... The only difference is that Swisher was never and I repeat ... never a good hitter. Average at best unless he was surrounded by very good hitters and played in a ballpark that favored left handed hitters.

Francisco Lindor - SS - Indians

Francisco Lindor's promotion is "imminent," according to Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports.

The Indians just couldn't wait any longer. Lindor has been spectacular, hitting .389. over his last eight games with Triple-A Columbus. He's expected to join Cleveland Sunday for their series finale against the Tigers. The 21-year-old will immediately assume the starting shortstop role upon his arrival. He projects as an average hitter with great glove work.

Tribe called up Clippers SS Francisco Lindor. Got the news during rain delay. "It was awesome. I'm happy and blessed." #shortstop

Well now of course he's gonna hit 3 HR in his first game, then about .180 the rest of the week and get sent back down....

I hope not, but that's the way the Tribe rolls.

Yeah Gio. I hope he and Lindor anchor the left side of the infield for the next decade.

Now for the next month or so the Indians are the only team in town. good time to get hot and maintain fan interest even after the exciting football exhibition season opens

Yep, getting shut out 17-0 by the Cubs makes me want to watch more games...

Marcum has really been feast or famine in that 5th slot.

On days like today, as they say, thank goodness it only counts as ONE loss. Should count for more.

Well, if anybody had him in our fantasy league, he would have lost 14 points.

Lonnie Chisenhall (Columbus, 3B): 3 for 4, 1 2B, 1 R, 1 RBI, 1 BB – Chisenhall has a week under his belt with Columbus after he was demoted from the majors, and he’s certainly played well. In seven games, he’s gone hitless in only one, and he’s batting .407 with two homers and seven RBIs.

Chisenhall appears to be the classic AAAA ball player.

Is he working on his defense?
