The Indians games on STO last year had one of the best ratings of any major league team. Can't remember the exact ranking but know it was top 5.

I'm always surprised how many fans I run into out here in Montana. Recently ran into a Browns fan in the Home Depot. Just saw a group of Buckeyes fans in a restaurant. And constantly seeing a Chief Wahoo cap out here.

There is an Air Force base here so there are a large population of out of towners but I see more than my share of Ohio/Cleveland fans.

If more locals would just buy tickets now.

Seeing Kluber and now Carrasco look so much like last season is pretty darn comforting.

Bauer and House merely need to match last season as well, that's not that tall an order.

McAllister and Salazar are the wild cards.

I expect Bauer to step up his game, although still inconsistently.
I expect House to step down like so many of the one-year-wonder lefties we've seen over the past decade: Sowers, Laffey, Huff, etc.
Salazar could be the key to the whole thing: we know he can be very effective, but he needs much more incentive or maturity. Maybe we need Carrasco to match him with his sister-in-law and start a family. Carlos has matured the way Danny needs to.

#Indians option Austin Adams to Columbus and call up Jerry Sands. To put Sands on 40-man roster Tomlin has been moved to 60-day DL

Probably a good move for facing soft throwing lefties.

Adams had a very productive four days with the team.

This also could have something to do with Brantley's bad back. Sands is not any great shakes defensively I don't think but he can at least DH freeing someone awful like Murphy or heaven help us Raburn to play left field.

"Source has confirmed Hayes, Adams and Marcum are all headed to Cleveland and will be potentially added to the roster on Sunday." #Indians

Time to DFA Raburn.

Hayes and Marcum not on 40 man roster so two will have to be cut loose or someone moved to 60 day DL and I don't think we have anyone who is appropriate for that list. What bullpenners have options available? Crockett does but he's done nothing wrong. Maybe Hagadone still does?

Found one easy move: Charles Brewer is on the 40 man roster. So he goes and Marcum replaces him. I hope Urshela doesn't need 60 days on the DL. Tomlin and Floyd are already on that list.

While Gomes is out, Roberto Perez will move into the starting catching role for Cleveland. For at least Sunday's game, first baseman Carlos Santana will double as the Tribe's backup catcher. Following an offday on Monday, it is possible that Cleveland will look to add a pure backup catcher from Triple-A Columbus (Brett Hayes or Adam Moore).

In need of pitching help as well, the Indians recalled right-hander Austin Adams and selected the contract of righty Shaun Marcum from Triple-A Columbus prior to Sunday's game. In order to clear room on the active roster for Adams, the Indians optioned lefty Kyle Crockett to Triple-A. Cleveland released Minor League pitcher Charles Brewer to open a spot on the 40-man roster for Marcum's arrival.

Best reliever so far heads to Columbus. The other two lefties have been either bad or terrible. But roster options control these decisions. I only hope we can get Crockett back sooner than the usual waiting period --- can do if he replaces someone on the DL.

5 games into the season and we had already added Sands, Adams and Marcum to the roster. Before game 7 there will be at least one more move.

And the 3 who were removed from the roster include our best RH hitter and our most reliable LH reliever. It's been three days since Sands came up so I already forget who we optioned out to make room for him! Next roster move might be DL'ing our 2014 Team and nearly AL MVP.
