A big thing this team has going for it right now is pitching depth. We have Herrmann and Putnam (and for that matter Lewis) at AAA and Hagadone at AA for bullpen depth. We've brought up White and Gomez to the rotation and haven't missed a beat and we still have Zach McAllister (and for that matter Aubrey Huff) for further starting rotation depth.
This bodes well for our ability to sustain a strong pace throughout the whole marathon.

Got to believe Germano will go. He faced 4 batters the other night and didn't get anybody out.

I agree with that sea. I can't believe Manny let him face the 4th batter.

One of the starters will go down - either Gomez or White and with the way White has pitched it will probably be Gomez. Things will really get interesting when Talbott comes back from the DL.

Chun Lee another ace reliever developing in Akron. He and Hagadone should be in AAA soon; great K/IP rates for both of them.

				Don't cry for Uncle Miltie
Mariners cut OF Milton Bradley and Ryan Langerhans
http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=a ... bradleycut
Here is why you don't cry:
The Mariners designated Bradley for assignment, giving them 10 days to trade, release or send him to the minors. He was making $13 million this season.
Here's a guy who averaged 101 games played a season 12 HR and 48 RBI and 9 SB and they paid him $13 million a year?
My hat is off to Gameboy. It ain't robbery when they just give their money away.

How come Grady Sizemore can't hit singles? Only 6 of them in 73 AB's. To go with 10 doubles and 5 homers. Unusual leadoff hitter.
