Another laugher today...

Interesting to note that the Tribe record has been compiled while the #3 and #4 batters in their lineup are hitting .217 and .206.

To Santana's credit, despite the low average he has a .328 OPB which is 11 points over the AL average of .317 and a .382 SLG which is just under the AL average of .389.

Point being, while he is certainly not doing what you want your cleanup hitter to do, he is not the drain on the offense that he appears to be at first blush.

Joe has to be excited about this team. They do everything he likes. Good pitching and good defense. They go from first to third and second to home with smart and aggressive running. The manager isn't afraid to manage. This is the kind of team Joe has been wanting the Tribe to field for years now.

Joe and I are sitting and watching the best start by the Indians,..... ever.

Can't jump on the bandwagon, yet. Might jinx them.

Fair enough, just want to make sure you guys have apulse. This is really something so far!!!
