Team has nothing to lose. If he comes back they can trade him. If he does not come back, they don't have to pay him. They still hold options on him so there is no need to do anything.

It's almost the start of another season! Will the Indians surprise the pundits and be a contender this year? A total bust? Or same ol' same ol?

I went with 81 to 90. Not a huge stretch from last year.
With health, like their lineup better than last year.

I'm going with 71-80.
I feel we did not show any significant upgrades over the off season to overcome Detroit.
I also feel that the White Sox will be more of a deciding factor this year.
I don't think we overwhelmed the Twins or the Royals by our acquisitions over the winter.

We may get lucky and avoid 90 loses but I predict a record of 72-90

I voted 71-80, but there's a big variable in there, which relates to what kind of start we have. A bad start means another fire sale, and the possibility of going even lower than that. Wouldn't want to miss out on dealing Choo for the next Matt LaPorta, would we?
