J.R.- The trouble with changing the order of posts to descending is it makes it a little like reading backwards.
I now have multiple identities here due to log-in problems.

MLB channel just showed Game 7 of the Tribe-MArlins WS as #13 of all time greatest games.
One thing about the game I either forgot or didn't know is the play that came with 1 out in the top of the ninth inning, Tribe up 2-1.
Sandy Alomar on third, Thome on first. MArlins bring in Nenn to pitch to Grissom. Grissom hits a bouncer up the middle, fielded by Renteria. Alomar jogs about the first 30' on the way to home plate. Renteria, slow getting the ball out of his glove, decides to come home instead of going for the inning ending double play. Sandy, seeing the play is coming his way, suddenly kicks it into full speed. He compounds the baserunning blunder by failing to slide into home, where Charles Johnson gets him by a step.
Giles ended the inning with a flyout.
Wow.

AZZOO: I hadn't noticed the tiny icon, but I saw it just now. But the light bulb icon changes color from blue to red when there are unread posts.

Aazoo and J.R.- Thanks for the heads up on the icon. If you just run the mouse over those symbols, it tells you if there are unread posts there. A nice find!

Do we have to manually mark posts as having been read?

UD: I posted this a while back:
Don't like to scroll?
Go to User Control Panel-->Edit Display Options-->Display post order direction:
Change it to Descending, and all the new posts appear on TOP instead of at the bottom!

I just changed the number of posts per page, so there will be less scrolling.

I have mine set to Descending order now, and it takes me to the latest post every time. I just have to scroll down until I see posts I've already read to find out what I've missed.

				Question for RYAN:
Will there ever be a time when this folder is "full" and we have to create a new one, as we do at WC?

"I just changed the number of posts per page, so there will be less scrolling."
But that means more clicking (to get to the next page). I'd rather scroll than click. (I logged in and saw--WOW! we're on page 6 already! woohoo we are in business now! ... but it was not so.)
