Good pitch no hit everywhere on Saturday.

Here are the linescores, boxscores and summaries:
http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.js ... d=20150411

Scores were:
AAA 0-2; AA 0-2: HiA 0-1 and 2-1; LoA 2-3 and 2-1. 6 games 46 innings, 17 hits by our guys!

Pitching lines from excellent to OK:
Justus Sheffield, 18 year old LH: 5-4-1-0-2-4
Adam Plutko RH in Lynchburg: 6-3-1-1-1-3 only run a homer by rehabbing Jayson Werth
Shawn Morimando LH in Akron: 5-2-0-0-3-5
Nick Maronde LH in Columbus: 5-4-2-2-3-3
Anderson Polanco another LH with Lake County: 5-2-3-3-4-5

And there actually are some notable hitting lines, too, from some of the kids who we are counting on:

in game 1 for Lynchburg, the two hits were one each from Frazier and Zimmer
in game 2 Papi doubled and walked, Zimmer homered, Frazier sac bunted
in game 1 for Lake County: Allen singled in 2 runs, Chang singled and walked, Bradley 2W,Mejia1W,Loopstock1w,1hbp
in game 2 Chang with 2 doubles, this slightly overshadowed prospect is hitting 444 in 3 games; Bradley HR #1

Remember 2nd round pick Trey Haley, from 2008? in his 8th season he's still in AA and lost the game in relief, making no progress but he's still only 24, so maybe with a dozen years under his belt he'll be ready for the big time

Nice outing by Pannone, 9 K and 2 hits in 6 innings. Too bad he got the no decision.

Little video of Mitch Brown of the Hillcats working.

SS Erik Gonzalez of the Ducks with a bases clearing double.

We should be good at SS for quite a while. Here is a triple by Lindor.

And lastly, little funny something about slugging prospect, Bobby Bradley.

Only one team managed a game; the Ohioans all rained out.
This one went 17 innings and finished with a couple position players doing the pitching for the Hillcats [that's us]

CLE HiA Frazier, Clint CF 6 0 3 0 .350 BB (1), SB (1) [that's a nice batting avg for a 20 year old in High A]
CLE HiA Papi, Mike LF 6 0 0 0 .059 2 BB (6) [can't hit, but he can walk]
CLE HiA Rodriguez, Nellie 1B 7 0 0 0 .045 [can't hit or walk]
CLE HiA Zimmer, Bradley RF 7 0 1 0 .263 BB (4), SB (3) [doing a little of everything offensively]

Papi and Rodriguez lead the Carolina League in lowest batting average over the first 5 games.

Who pitched. Francona would love a couple of bench players that could pitch. :)

Bradley's first at bat tonight he ripped a deep one to straight center but it was caught.

I think they have a double header tonight.
