				Alex White - S - Indians
Indians prospect right-hander Alex White is a candidate to replace Carlos Carrasco in the starting rotation.
The Indians need a spot-starter for Saturday and White appears to be the best option since David Huff just pitched on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old right-hander posted is off to a fantastic start with Triple-A Columbus, posting a 1.90 ERA and 28/5 K/BB ratio over his first four starts. The 2009 first-round pick would need to be added to the 40-man roster.

I see where my 15-12 prediction for April may have been a little pessimistic.
We were 0-2 at the time.

The Tribe pitching is showing cracks that could grow into fissures and send the team into the dark abyss.
Santana needs to get his bat going.
Gotta love the Tribe defense, so improved from the last few seasons. The outfield trio of Choo, Grady and Brantley might be the best combo for Cleveland in decades.

Praise the fates that made Huff off schedule for a call-up.

We've owed them. We received Fritz Peterson, Mike Kekich, Freddy Beene, Tom Buskey and Steve Kline from them.

				Alex White - S - Indians
Alex White will make his major league debut on Saturday evening against the Tigers.
White, 22, has a stellar 1.90 ERA and 28/5 K/BB ratio through four starts at Triple-A Columbus this season. He was a first-round pick in 2009 and has serious long-term potential, but the youngster can probably be avoided in his first taste of the bigs.

Indians pulling out all stops to get fans by announcing so early that White is starting. Found out that 9 game home winning streak will not bring out fans. Best record in the AL will not bring out fans.

Fans won't come out when the forecast is like this:
Tonight
Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Lows in the lower 40s. Southwest winds 15 to 25 mph...becoming west around 15 mph. Gusts up to 40 mph early this evening. Chance of rain 50 percent.
Plenty of games left this season.

No doubt that is from a fantasy site. They are saying that he is not worth adding to a fantasy team.

				By the way
joez - notice that when the team is contending, the minor leaguer IS brought up regardless of the arbitration clock situation.
PS - he is lurking as a guest, I have no doubt.

TFIR: Well, that makes sense, but it is attributed to the Indians:

Since when are the Indians in the fantasy business?
I got an email from JOE Z yesterday. He is VERY busy at his work, and has no time to post. He does read here once or twice a week, but doesn't plan to register for quite awhile.

				LOL, no time to post.
I am sorry, but that is ALWAYS the ultimate cop out. Used it myself more times than I am proud to admit to.
