Initial reports suggested that Kipnis was in the trade for Jimenez.
I really would have been unhappy if that were the case.

I didn't know until I just looked that Jason "Kip" Kipnis started his collegiate career as an SEC guy at Kentucky before moving to AZ State.

Bard had a 20+ inning scoreless streak coming into this game.
Kipnis and Lonnie are two kids who don't have the deer in the headlights look.
Nice to see nothing of Kearns tonight.
Another Tribe runner caught stealing tonight.

First they blow a dp and get no outs, then Varitek Ks but they score on a wild pitch! Sheesh!
