Trailing 3-2 in the 7th we again got two on with two out and this useless Fuko guy strikes out looking.

Carmona stays in long enough to let in a 4th run in the 8th. His pitch count was low but his skill level remains modest as well.

Hafner brings up to 1 down in the bottom of the inning with a clutch ground out RBI

Sipp gives the run back in the 9th on 3 singles.

And we lose the series to the Rampaging Royals. Tigers win. We're 2.5 games down with the same crappy hitting team we started the week with except for merely cosmetic change of Fuko replacing Buck as not-very-useful OF.

Tribe will have to hope a decent bat gets through waivers to them.

Duffy came into the game allowing lefties to bat .271 off him this season.

Why the hell was Hafner on the bench?

As many games as Acta might have given the Tribe the edge earlier in the season, he is handing them away like counterfeit money now.

He is not healthy enough to play every day. So today was a day off. Were RHs hitting any less than 271 against Duffy? He's basically a pretty bad pitcher.

Civ- I figured that about Hafner, but I'm just frustrated.

Someone should slap Acta upside the noggin so he gets the fact that Kearns is no longer a MLB caliber player.

I hope they MRI'ed his arm and shoulder.
Remember, the Rox GM is Dan O'Dowd. I don't think he would trade the Indians damaged goods.

Brantley the RBI machine just got us on the board with a 2 out RBI double.

Well, not any more. Crawford homer makes it 3-1, that's 8 hits to match the 8 outs. We're way up above our offensive potential by now.

That miserable FukuDome struck out again; he's 1-11 with 3K and 1 walk.
