Tribe taking their dive just in time for the casual fans to turn to the Browns.

I suppose you weren't thinking of Chad Durbin. But we have lots of them who probably could draw some attention and several in AAA or AA who could be good replacements.

Sipp, Perez and Hagadone: the lefties
Pestano, Smith, Herrmann, Durbin, Lee, Talbot, Putnam, Bryson, Stowell: the righties

Hagadone will probably get hurt again, so I'd not object to peddling him, but then of course he wouldn't get hurt after all. Smith's value may now be as higher as it ever will be. Ditto Pestano.

It's been a long developing dive, now 22-35, but this game was the cake-topper to end all cake-topping.

I would give up Raffy for a good prospect.

I would listen on Joe Smith. I would give him up for a very good prospect.

I would look to do a reverse Rincon Giles trade.

Or a reverse Seitzer/Burnitz trade

Glad we didn't complete any deals before the roof caved in, we'd be regretting it now.

I think dolan is one happy camper. Now he can have a clear consience to do his annual dumping. I would dump the entire bullpen as we got plenty more where they came from.

I wish I could say I surprised this team got no hit.

That said I would have laughed at anybody that suggested at the start of the season that Indians would be hovering around the .500 mark heading into August.

I think that's the first time I've seen a team get no hit and actually score run in the process. How often has that happened?

Look on the bright side. Attendance was about 20,000 and they get to say they saw a no-hitter.

Well, Seagull, one good thing about the Angel pitcher throwing the no-no in front of the 20,000 fans ... we won't have to worry about a couple million different Indians fans claiming to be in the audience that day.

I heard the last few innings of this one on Nauset Light beach. It would have been a lot easier to take this loss if they had managed to win last night, as they should have.

I heard Hammy say that the Indians offer for Beltran was never relayed to the Mets by Scott Boras.
