BA list of 10 prospects who "are better than you think" because of their topnotch command of the strikezone. One of them is:

7. Francisco Lindor, ss, Indians

SO/BB: 1.26. SO: 15.2%. BB: 12.1%.

First Half: .275/.363/.375 in 290 PA at Double-A Akron.

Three shortstops ranked ahead of Lindor on our preseason Top 100 Prospects list, but few would be surprised if he surpasses at least one of them in terms of career value based on his tools, instincts and makeup. Though he won’t hit for big-time power, Lindor should do everything expected of a first-division shortstop and top-of-the-order hitter

Future Game rosters posted. Total of 50 players so about half the teams get 2 players and half only 1. We net Lindor and that's it. The only candidate we can offer is Naquin but the 5 U.S. OFs chosen all have more power, although I can see Naquin beating out a kid named Josh Bell from the Pirates who's only in Class A.

in the top of the 3rd inning of Akron's game this afternoon, after Lindor completed a play in the field, he was replaced defensively. We'll find out what that is about.

Dace Kime 2.60 ERA in his last seven starts. Has worked two shutout innings today and he's tied at zero.

His first eight starts vs his most recent seven, not including today:

30 IP 51 H 29 ER 12 BB 23 K era 8.70 whip 2.10 0-6
38 IP 26 H 11 ER 16 BB 33 K era 2.60 whip 1.10 2-3

3 run homer by Clint Frazier, his 5th homer, gives the Captains a lead. Kime's shutout is up to 3 innings, aiming for his 3rd win in 3 starts. You'd expect a 22 year old 3rd round draft choice to pitch at least part of his first full season in the advanced A league. Kime should be earning a promotion to Carolina; and the Mudcats' starters Ryan Merritt and Shawn Morimando meanwhile have earned promotions to Akron

Kime struggles through the 4th, 2 doubles and 2 walks produce a couple runs, but Captains still ahead 6-3 s Logan Vick and Paul Hendrix add homers.

Kime exits after 5 1/3 surrendering just the 2 runs.
Dorsyss Paulino gets to work offensively with a single and a double. His OPS still lags behind 2013's not so great 646, not to mention his 1.046 in the Arizona rookie league in 2012 that made an instant prospect.

Resumption of rain delay game for the Clippers is knotted at 4 in the 9th. Scott Barnes allowed 3 runs in relief.

My favorite trio of stellars defenders who are hitting stars of late: Roberto Perez, Giovanny Urshela and Carlos Moncrief each with a double and an rbi.

Lindor report:

Shortstop Francisco Lindor exited the game after taking a bad-hop grounder into his face into the third inning. He received precautionary x-rays following the game, and will meet with trainers and medical staff to assess his condition.

LH Sean Brady with 5 2/3 shutout innings for the Scrappers in their makeup opener.

Zimmer with a double; kid catcher Francisco Mejia has a good eye, too, draws two walks.
2b Steven Patterson brings his avg back up to .500 with 3 hits, including a double. Do we have another great NYPL 2nd baseman in the mold of Cord Phelps (312 in 2008) and Scott Pratt (351)?

Adam Plutko working for the Mudcats. 2 shutout innings so far. He could be our No. 1 starting pitching prospect at this point.
LeVon Washington with a hit, is batting 336 and has not been hurt for nearly two months.

The RubberDucks ended their Eastern League series against the Erie SeaWolves with a 4-2 loss at Canal Park on Wednesday, but sometimes scores and standings go right out the window at a sporting event when a player’s health comes into question.
Such was the case when a scary moment occurred in the third inning Wednesday. Shortstop Francisco Lindor, the Indians’ top prospect, went to field a routine double-play ball before the grounder took a nasty hop and hit Lindor in the face.
Lindor immediately went facedown to the infield dirt and the RubberDucks’ medical staff rushed out to the 20-year-old phenom’s side. After a couple of minutes on the ground, Lindor, who didn’t want to come out of the game, was able to walk off the field on his own power, albeit with a towel over his face to slow down the flow of blood.
Lindor underwent precautionary X-rays and a CT scan in the clubhouse, the results of which are yet unknown, but RubberDucks manager David Wallace does not believe the injury is anything serious. The good news is that the cause of concern appears to be with Lindor’s nose and not a potential orbital bone fracture.
Another scary moment occurred at the end of the first inning when SeaWolves starting pitcher Warwick Saupold went to back up a throw behind home plate. Saupold slipped and injured his ankle. After a couple of minutes with trainers, he too was able to exit the field on his own power, but did not return.
Despite having to go to their bullpen in the second inning, the SeaWolves (32-43) held the Ducks to two runs on 10 hits.
Anthony Gallas’ RBI single scored Joey Wendle to give the Ducks a 1-0 lead. The Ducks scored again in the second on an RBI single from Jordan Smith that scored Tony Wolters.
Smith led the Ducks (45-33) at the plate, going 3-for-4 and raising his average to .210.
“He’s really working hard on some mechanical adjustments at the plate to shorten up his swing a little bit,” Wallace said. “It’s really nice to see him pull some balls well lately against some pretty good velocity. Those are good signs.”
Part of the reason for the Ducks’ inability to score more runs was going 2-for-11 with runners in scoring position. The other part was running into outs on the base paths, something the Ducks did three times. Lindor got caught in no-man’s land between second and third base when he was unsure whether a line drive would be caught or not. Wendle and Bryan LaHair didn’t have as good of an excuse.
“Poor decisions on LaHair and Wendle, but Lindor there’s not much he could have done,” Wallace said. “I thought he made the right read.”
Will Roberts got the start for the Ducks and dropped to 7-8 after working six innings. He allowed four runs, all earned, on eight hits and two walks. He struck out three.
“I don’t think he felt as good as he has,” Wallace said, “but he worked with what he had [today] and did a great job to keep us in the game. They hit it where we weren’t and that led to a couple runs but we should have been able to put up some more runs than we did.”
The Ducks kick off a four-game series against the Harrisburg Senators at 7:05 tonight at Canal Park. Washington Nationals superstar Bryce Harper will play for the Senators as part of a rehab assignment.

Last two are going to be hard for me to keep distinct. Like in the days of Ryan Miller and Ryan Morris. I'll just to have think of last names only and avoid the Shane/Sean confusion
Brady is a 20 year lefty, 5th round pick 2013
Shane is a 18 year old 6-4 righty, 6TH ROUND 2013 draft
