TFIR - good point. Here's another one, we have Jack Hannahan at around the league minimum, the Tigers have Brandon Inge at two years and $11.5 million. Take a look at their career numbers, there is not the big of a difference. Certainly not enough of a difference to justify paying somebody like Inge over 10 times more.

Grady is playing CF today and Buck is in LF. Someone else is gone; is it Talbot? I heard something about Gomez pitching Tuesday. Talbot hurt his arm?

Yeah, Talbot had some pain so they're shutting him down a week or two and see how it fairs.

A post in Articles has him missing a lot longer. Hope you're right HB.

Just going by what TV announcers said. It may be worse than they hope, and knowing our crack staff probably will be. But they're hoping.

Let's see how the Tribe players respond as they begin to get national attention.

The starting pitching has been phenomenal.

I also think the Chris Perez is one of the top 5 closers in MLB, although unproven in big games.

Kinda hard to prove yourself in big games when you have been with the Indians :)

He may get his chance. 11-4. On pace for 118 Wins

Talbot says the MRI was negative and it's just a little inflamation.

Bets on when the announce he needs TJ Surgery?

Tribe pitching ranks #7 for lowest ERA on the season in MLB.

Offense has scored the 6th most runs.

It's not all happening at the zoo, but on the corner of Carnegie and Ontario.

Offense has scored the 6th most runs.

Interesting that in average, on base pct and slugging we're much lower than 6th. Does that mean we're ready for a fall, or that we deserve credit for timely and situational hitting

Tribe is 3rd in the AL in runs scored, OBP, SLG, and OPS so I'd say offensively we're just fine (for now at least). We fall off a little Major League wide because right now at least the NL seems to be outhitting the AL which is a little strange.
