Historically Thomas has shown he can hit homers, but hasn't come close with us.

Thomas is in the lineup today against at RH at least he's down at 7th in the order but that means Schneemann hitting 211 is batting second; Brennan 5th
Noel on the bench. Manzardo left handed bat in Columbus.

I don't believe Ralphy has played one game behind the plate this season. Mostly first base.

Ralphy has only caught one game in his minor league career. Currently playing LF or DH in Lake County. Previous first base or DH.

no roster changes. From what Pluto posted Manzardo may not be a logical addition while in a slump. Arias is hitting very well, but does anyone think he'd sustain it? But I'd sub him for Freeman to see if we get a briefly hot bat.

Bats come alive for one day. They did so in one of the games vs the Yankees too; can they sustain it for a second game in a row?

Unfortunately Bobby Witt is better than anyone on the Guardians and will come in 2nd for MVP to Judge although I'd vote for Witt.

Yuck.
What is it that makes this team a complete flop in doubleheaders? Just random bad luck in a small [4] sample? If they could have split the 4 doubleheaders they'd have a nice 5 game lead.
If .... lots of IFs would result in better or worse results.

Nice work by Boyd but the Pirates pitching was better.
Royals and Twins both lost, too, so lead remains 2 1/2 and 3 1/2

Hey if Cobb/Boyd can fill those 2 rotation slots it's all good.
And of course Manzo has his first MLB homers out of the way.
