I will say that Rosario's slap into left field to bring in Ramirez was one of the best hits I have seen in a long time. Situational hitting, an unknown art amongst our Spiders!

Further defense of Amed Rosario.

Due to the infatuation with Bauers and Naylor in RF, Amed Rosario NEVER got consistent at bats until very recently - if ever actually.

Give the freaking guy consistent at bats like we did Bauers before we decide he can't hit. What Amed did in 2019 is far, far more than we ever saw from both Bauers and Naylor.

And as UD just mentioned you can actually see that he takes much more professional at bats than those 2 do. And by the way his play in CF has drastically improved.

So keep it this way. Amed in CF, Luplow in RF, and Naylor at his natural position at 1B.

I'm ok with that trio for now; I'd argue that Amed has had pretty regular appearances but he's been concentrating on his defense so I can excuse this mild offense; and also agree he at least to seem to some idea of what he's doing; Bauers is just a total lost cause. Is he gone? Or do we get to look forward to him coming off the bench for the big hit late in the game?

can't say that McKenzie is having an impressive start, with 3 walks in 2 innings, but at least no Yankees runs.
Although perhaps we ought to try something different today and let them score first. and then roll out the Tribe offensive juggernaut

7 runs today?? :o :o

Do not touch that lineup Tito. I don't care who did what - don't touch.

Well, except for Hedges I guess. But miracle of miracles even he contributed offensively.

5-9 with RISP who are these guys?

Reyes got his first MLB triple yesterday in a million ABs then does it again today!!!!

Reyes also stole a base just to prove he's not a snail.

I read Franmil was in the 30th percentile in speed.

Ok, that's pretty low but I would have thought it much lower? I do think he moves well considering how huge he is.

Wow they won a game. Nice to see Hentges get his first win. Good work by the 4 guys in the bullpen. Quantrill may earn himself a return to the rotation; McKenzie and Allen aren't exactly excelling.
Bauers still has a role: 1b in the 9th inning when we're ahead. Although with a 3 man bench we can probably do better.

Twins lineup has 5 guys hitting under 200

One of them hitting 120 with his first major league homer off Plesac
Another one with his first major league hit a double
Twins up 1-our usual number 2nd and 3rd one out in the 4th
