Another lousy game today. Plutko was hammered, 2 homers in 2 innings. Perez 3 runs and a homer in his inning. Krnicahk 2 walks and 2 hits and 1 run in his inning. Offense consists of a single and walk for Zimmer, Gamel walks and that;s it through 5. Ugh.

OH: Hedges just homered, first run in 2 daus

Is this the dead bat period? 4 hits today.

Pitchers threw 4 gopher balls.

Coincidence that the team crapped the bed the 2 days where Franmil and Jose Ramirez got their hands slapped.

(Shit they probably love getting a couple days off spring training.)

No way, they are smart guys! A couple days vacation in a spring training that is too long for hitters anyways.

And for Tito, he gets to see some of the guys he never sees get more at bats instead of guys he knows damn well.

These guys can have days off anytime they want to. They don't have to breaks the rules to get a day off. I'm sure they didn't turn themselves in. Somebody blew the whistle.

Tito has more to worry about with his medical stuff and since the Calloway stuff hit the fan.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Tito take a few days off.

With the minors starting a month late, many decisions will be influenced by that leaguewide.

For example, a guy with options like Gimenez - do you really want him at the "alternate site" in April instead of continuing to get at bats in the big leagues (or AAA for that matter).

This may encourage/force teams to keep kids they might ordinarily send to the minors for "regular work".

Guys with options can always be sent down. Doesn't matter if its to start the season or mid-season. If you're a starter, and hit, you stay. If you slump, maybe they get to play some games with your service time.

Looks like Gimenez is here until he isn't.

Clase keeps hitting 100 mph. Without pharmaceutical assistance. Also seems to have better command than Karinchak.

It took 10 games but finally an outfielder hit a HR.....3 today for the OFs. Windy here today. Could be the reason.
