Reyes is certainly an interesting hitter - pretty cool seeing his double to right center.

As the article posted earlier on showed the guy hits to all fields. As he develops that has to help him.

That’s why Reyes has a hard time laying off that high fastball. Cause when he hits one it goes out to right or right center.

The double last night was a breaking ball he went the other way with. Very impressive. Cerano must have lent him Jobu.

When I talked with Franmil Reyes recently about Progressive Field, here's what he said:

"When I get a lot of confidence like, 'This is my house, this is my place,' I’m going to do -- I’m telling you -- damage."

He just hit a rocket to the home run porch.

His top hand came off the bat as he was hitting ball. Still hit a breaking ball well into the left field porch area. Serious power that dude has.

Great to see him hit the decisive blow in this one - and Hand wrap up another successfully. Honorable mention to Clevinger.

To summarize Bieber was shaky early but battling through 5 the Tribe down just 3-2.

2 run shot by Plawecki to make up for his blown rundown play earlier.

Great to see Yu Chang get his first hit and make a great defensive play at third!

Chang triples in the bottom of the 7th to lead off then Plawecki (the guy who mishandled that rundown earlier) now singles him in. Plawecki has now driven in all 3 runs.

Bieber went on an unreal run after those first few innings to go 7 full. Absolutely amazing recovery to end up with a very good outing. Only the best turn things around like that.

Interesting coincidence: the debut of Willi Castro and the second career game for Yu Chang today; were both SS in our system and we could afford to trade one [for Leonys Martin] since we had the other available. Willi has had a great year in AAA and is younger although Chang had been rated slightly higher in the past. Good luck to both.
