Not too bad for an old man. Well, as old as my younger child anyway and I don't consider him washed up.

Cleveland genes:

Larry Nance Jr. went for 16 points, 12 rebounds, a steal and a blocked shot over 30 minutes in Friday's 116-102 loss against the Clippers.

Nance was making his return to Staples Center for the first time since his mid-season trade from the Lakers. He'll face his former teammates on Sunday in a highly-anticipated nationally-televised contest.

Nance carries three consecutive double-doubles into that matchup with the Lakers. He has really taken off since Tristan Thompson (ankle) went down.

Lebron has that freakish body and a freakish work ethic. He'll keep it going indefinitely.

Bunch of Indians at the Cavs game in Phoenix tonight. They brought them luck as they won a game. J.R. Was not in starting lineup. He was informed via a text by Lue. I am fine with the benching but via text? I don’t know man. Lue may have to go.

Kevin Love (hand) said he's hopeful he'll be able to return to the court for the Cavs' home game against the Suns on March 23.

We had a report on Monday stating that Love was targeting a return in 2-3 weeks, and next Friday's game against Phoenix would put him slightly ahead of that timetable. It could take him a handful of games to shake off the rust, but given that this was just a hand injury, it shouldn't take long for him to get his conditioning where it needs to be.

What is this, a Jimmy Kimmel episode? Someone spouts off utter nonsense and the rest of the uninformed laugh?

Do any of you guys get your news from a reliable source?

Chief of Staff Kelly told Tillerson by phone Friday the president wanted his resignation. He asked if he could wait till Monday when he returned from Africa trip. And spent weekend trying to save his job to no avail. Anything else is lies and fake news.

Hell, even liberal NBC and Bloomberg has reported this fact.

BREAKING: White House Chief of Staff John Kelly spoke with Rex Tillerson by phone on Friday and told him that President Trump intended to ask Tillerson to “step aside,” according to two sources familiar with the situation, @albamonica and @kwelkernbc report

Tillerson took a middle-of-the-night phone call from Kelly on Friday during his Africa trip, telling him Trump was planning to replace him, two officials say. He then spent the weekend fighting for his job https://bloom.bg/2FvmfLM

Can we stick to sports in the sports folders?

A coach texting a long time starter and telling him he is benching him just does not sit right with me. If you see it differently I'd like to hear the argument.

4. Smith has struggled through another miserable season, but Tyronn Lue has been slow to make a move. Before the trade deadline, they really didn’t have any great options to replace him. Korver, who turns 37 on Saturday, can’t carry a full starter’s load of minutes anymore. But after Smith sleepwalked through another terrible game Sunday against the Lakers, Lue apparently had seen enough. Smith sat the final 16 minutes Sunday, and Lue texted him Monday to tell him he was yanking him from the starting lineup. Smith acknowledged before the game Tuesday that he hasn’t played well this season, but he’s at a loss to explain why.

5. “I don’t know, honestly. If I knew that, shit, I’d be rolling,” Smith told The Athletic. “I don’t know. It’s just a down year, I guess.”

6. Smith seemed to take exception to the fact Lue texted him to inform him rather than tell him in person. He told ESPN, “I’m not upset about it. I just wish there would have been more dialogue, I guess.”

7. But a number of players can attest to the fact that Lue often communicates with players through texts, especially regarding decisions like this. That way there is no dispute later and no “he said/he said” moments. Everything is documented.

Works for me. Hell, in the old days the coach told you you were benched and that's that. No discussion or dialogue and then you might not hear from him for a month.

Buckeyes and Blue Jackets won. Let's see if the Cavs can make it a perfect evening.

If you didn't watch the game go to social media or ESPN and watch the highlights of LeBron's dunk in 1st quarter. It was a "Holy $#!¥" one. One of his best.

That was an EPIC dunk.

Too bad we didn't win.

Can't wait till Love gets back.
